Accessibility at St Andrew’s Church
We want everyone to feel welcome and included at St Andrew’s. If you are planning to visit us, here’s some information about accessibility:
-
Step-free access – There is good access to the building, with a ramp into the churchyard from Church Lane, and no steps within the building. There is a disabled toilet that can be reached by a ramp within the building.
-
Accessible seating – Space is available for wheelchairs and for those who need extra room. If you would like reserved seating, please let us know in advance.
-
Toilets – An accessible toilet is available in the church.
-
PA System – We have a PA system to assist with audibility in the main body of the church.
-
Hearing loop: If you wear a suitable hearing aid, there is a hearing loop for all our services and other meetings. You should be able to hear well.
-
Large print materials – Service sheets and hymn books are provided in large print.
-
Parking – Accessible parking is available close to the church entrance.
-
Assistance – Our welcome team is always happy to help—please speak to one of us when you arrive, or get in touch beforehand if you have specific needs.
If you have any questions about access, or if there is anything we can do to make your visit easier, please don’t hesitate to contact the Church Office. We want everyone to be able to worship, celebrate, and feel at home here.
